I don’t think I realized that the Bible talked about sexually transmitted diseases, but that seems to be the focus of today’s scripture.
Leviticus 15:3 Whether it continues flowing from his body or is blocked, it will make him unclean. This is how his discharge will bring about uncleanness:
And, honestly, I think the biggest issue I have is that male STDs and female menstruation are treated in the same way. That doesn’t seem right.
Leviticus 15:4 “ ‘Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, and anything he sits on will be unclean.
Precious Savior, It’s honestly fascinating sometimes the things you call me to ponder as I read and study your word. Help me to draw closer to You each day as I ponder.
Leviticus 15:5 Anyone who touches his bed must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
