Sometimes we get stuck, whether it’s in a negative mindset or destructive patterns or unfortunate friends, and we don’t really know the way out. I think the steps of Leviticus 14 can be applied to those times as well: Isolate, study, wait (and pray), reexamine, if the issue persists, repeat the process.

On the surface, that type of glacial change feels daunting and unachievable. But God. That is not to say with God changing will be swift and easy. It just means that with God, even moving one grain of sand at a time, while grueling and slow, is possible.

Precious Savior, Thank You for the ability to look at this scripture, which feels so out-of-touch and repetitive, and take life lessons that I can still apply to life today. I know I don’t always get it right, but please draw me closer each day. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
