1 John 4:10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
Lord, Thank You seems so inadequate for all that is on my heart this morning. You created me. You formed me in my mother’s womb. You knew every inch of me before I was born. I am Your handiwork, Your masterpiece. Forgive me for the times, in my thoughts, my words, my actions, when I fail to live, act, and speak as Your beloved child.
Eph 2:4 But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy….
Lord, Thank You, when You look at me, for always seeing the potential You placed within me. Thank You for loving not only who You know I can become, but for loving, deeply, fiercely, completely, the person I am right at this very moment. Thank You, when I am struggling with doubt and defeat, for grasping me by the chin, refocusing my eyes on You, and reminding me of who I am and Whose I am. I am Yours. Completely. Thank You, Jesus.
Eph 2:5 …made us alive in Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Lord, Thank You for this day, for these reminders, for Your amazing grace and fierce love. Thank You for knowing me, for loving me, for believing in me, for redeeming me, for allowing me to shine Your light. Help me never to forget who I am and Whose I am. Draw me closer. Amen.
Eph 2:7 …in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Have a blessed day.
