Genesis 7:1 The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.
I’ve got a lot of thoughts swirling around in my head this morning, and none of them seem very in-line with these verses of Genesis, but in my heart, I feel God calling me to be still in this moment, to be present in this moment, this day. It is, quite honestly, something that I’m terrible at doing.
Genesis 7:2 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate,
Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Today. Not once everything is settled. Not once all the “To Dos” are “To Dones.” Right now. We are called to rejoice and be glad in this day.

Precious Savior, Bless my heart, I can be a “glass half empty” kind of gal. Forgive me. Help me to see You everywhere, in everything. Help me see challenges as opportunities to shine Your light even brighter. Help me, instead of grumping and whining, to rejoice and be glad in this day that You have made. Thank You. Amen.
Genesis 7:4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”
Have a blessed day.
