Lord, I want to live a life that honors You. I want to seek You first and always. I want to understand and follow Your will for me. Please grant me wisdom and discernment to recognize and follow the path You have for me.
James 3:17b …It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others….
Lord, In the early morning hours, when the world still seems to be asleep, it is so easy to seek You, to draw close to You. But this world is so very loud. Help me to tap into Your calming, peaceful presence, regardless of what is going on around me. Help me to seek You and find You, no matter the noise of this world.
James 3:17c It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.
Lord, Thank You for this day and for my deep desire to know You, to trust You, to follow You. Help me to live a life that honors You, a life that is pleasing to You. Help me to cling to Your peace and Your presence always, no matter what the world throws at me. Draw me closer to You. Amen.
