Completely His…. (devo reflection)

Psalm 91:14a “Because he loves Me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him….”
I am deeply human, which means I am often ridiculously fallible. The struggle from yesterday’s devo reflection is a prime example. Thankfully, my Savior doesn’t hold perfection as a criteria for love, grace, and mercy. I love Him deeply, even through my mistakes and missteps, and He knows my heart. Thank You, Jesus.
Psalm 91:14b “I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name.”
In a world where the spoils usually go to the fastest, the strongest, the most cunning, I’m a huge fan of the underdog, the one who is so utterly under-matched for the competition but has such heart, such courage and determination. I think God is, too. He asks us to love and acknowledge Him. We don’t have to be the best, we just have to be completely His. Thank You, Jesus.
Psalm 91:15 “He will call on Me, and I will answer Him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”
Lord, Thank You for this day, for this scripture, for Your grace and mercy. Thank You that You don’t reserve Your love for those who deserve it, that You can take a fallible yet devoted heart and use it for our good and Your glory. Thank You for listening to and understanding our hearts, Lord. Help us to praise You always. Draw us closer. Amen.
Psalm 91:16 “With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
Have a blessed day.
